MASERATI MC20 PROTOTYPE HONORS SIR STIRLING MOSS
The Maserati MC20 prototype, known as the brand’s super sports car, is now going to pay tribute to Sir Stirling Moss. Sadly, this British motor racing legend passed away in April at the age of ninety. We have the details you are looking for as an enthusiast near Irvine, CA. Learn more about what we have to offer at Maserati of Anaheim Hills. Get pre-approved today and start living like a legend.
MC20 Super Sports Car
Maserati released the MC20 next to two iconic race cars. The first is the Eldorado, which debuted in 1958 and was driven by Stirling Moss. The second is the Maserati 250F, which was also driven by Moss during several F1 GP races.
On May 13th, the great driver was honored. This is the same day that he experienced a victory during the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in 1956. Overall, Moss earned 16 victories with 66 starts during his Formula 1 Grand Prix racing, making him one of the most successful drivers of all time.
It should come as no surprise that the MC20 prototype was chosen to honor Sir Stirling. This model is geared toward highlighting the sporting vocation and returning to the lead of the racing circuits. It hopes to follow in the tracks of the MC12, which won the world championship back in 2010. The MC20 is also the first car to include an engine that is one hundred percent created by Maserati.
