March 31st, 2020 by

There has been more news released about the new Maserati electric vehicles in the works. The company announced that all new models would be fully developed, engineered and manufactured in Italy. These vehicles will also adopt hybrid or battery electric systems to provide more performance and the latest innovations. What does this mean for new Maserati vehicles at Maserati of Anaheim Hills near Diamond Bar, CA? Let’s take a closer look.

Future Maserati Vehicles
The Maserati electrification program begins this year, with the first hybrid model to be a Ghibli. After that, we will see electric versions of the Maserati GranCabrio and GranTurismo in 2021. We will also see some models coming out of Modena, where the automaker maintains its headquarters. This is where the new super sports car models will also be built.

Right now, the company is working on updating the Modena plant to accommodate the new electric lineup. They have also started constructing the paint shop, which is a brand new addition to this facility. The Innovation Lab is also located in Modena. This is where all of the design, development, and research occur for Maserati. The automaker uses three major areas in the Innovation Lab: the Static Simulator, Dynamic Simulator, and the “User eXperience” development labs.

There will also be a new Maserati utility vehicle produced at Cassino. The production of this model is scheduled for later in 2020, with the first being delivered by 2021. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait until these models make their way near Corona, CA.
